Soft pie with Apples & Walnuts

3 eggs

150 grams of sugar

50 ml of milk

60 g of butter

300 gr of flour

1 sachet (16 gr) of baking powder

2 large apples

200 gr of Walnuts


First break the eggs in a bowl and start mixing with the help of the electric whisk.

Then add, still continuing to mix, sugar, milk and melted butter. Pour the flour a little at a time, the sachet of baking powder and mix until a lump-free dough is obtained. We take the two large apples, peel half an apple, cut it into small pieces with a knife and mix it with a wooden spoon. We will use the rest of the apples for decoration.

We prepare a baking sheet, I used one 24 cm in diameter, well greased and floured and pour the dough. We peel and cut the rest of the apples into thin slices and decorate the cake, arranging the apple slices and walnuts to the whole surface of the cake as shown.

Finally, sprinkle the surface of the apple pie with a little sugar.

We bring the cake to bake in a static preheated oven at 180 ° for 45 minutes or in a ventilated oven, preheated to 170 ° for about 45 minutes.

Once the cake is cooked, let it cool, then take it out of the mold and serve it, perhaps accompanied by an hot cup of tea or cappuccino.
